I got a 1990 mercury outboard that i would like to replace the impellar in.. I was told that these should be replaced ofter in order for the engine not to fail. Where could I buy one of these at, and is it a difficult job to replace?

Your local marina should have them as many years/models use the same unit. I just replaced mine it was $50 for the kit. I would recommend picking up a manual if you have never worked on motors before. The toughest part will be aligning the lower unit back up.

Good luck
