Bill Yurkovic Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I have been an avid Flyfisherman in the area for years and have now turn to fishing the river. I'm looking for somewhere where I can read up on techniquies and baits I can use to have solid success. I fish from Fort Hunter and up the river past Duncannon. I am slowly learning the spots to fish, but would like to educate myself a littlemore. Any one have any thoughts? Quote
backwater4 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Try the suskiebassmasters website, they have good info and a link to a e mag about the river and techniques. Quote
NateFollmer Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Flies to use: crawfish patterns, clouser Minnows, deceivers, bucktail streamers, wooly buggers... As far as areas to fish, hit the area where the Juniata dumps in. Quote
