I like the new look and features. In today's world, you have to keep on the cutting edge. I applaud Glenn and the people who decided on the upgrade and hope they keep looking to make this site better as time goes by. Hope all of you who went on the Road Trip are catching some lunkers. I had to stay up here in the beautiful Illinois weather and find a new job. Mission accomplished, now work for an awesome new place (Wing Stop)and didn't go smelting at all because of the weather. BOOOO!! The cool thing is the owner of my new place loves to fish, so it sounds like we may do some road trips of our own!!

I'll admit I have been very busy with other projects and don't reply as much as I have in the past, but I think everyone's finally fishing instead of staring at ice :P

Well, I bet that a good half of our members live above the Mason Dixon line so that means the better half of our members have almost thawed out completely and after 4-5 months of freezing they must be more eager to go wet a line than they are eager to spend their precious fishing time fishing than being chating with us guys that can fish year round ( like me ).

BTW, down here ---> high 90´s - low 100´s ( man you just gotta love the South ! :P )

Snook - i miss those rotary phones a little also. The noise they made while dialing was pretty cool. The coiled 25' handset cord so you could talk in another room? not so much...

Ya know...for being down on traffic....this topic got over 32 hits in 3 days...with folks on the road trip...I am one of those old farts and seem to manage just fine... and I thought rotary phones were just fine...until I got a touch phone...Good job Glenn

rotary phones??? it took so long once you turned a number, before you could turn it again. if there were a bunch of 7's, 8's, and 9's in a phone number, you were screwed.

3 times as bad when the clock spring was broke...

As far as the site, I haven't had much time to explore, but so far it's been fun checkin out all the nooks and crannys... Kelley, when you hit Michigan, I think you need a ferry ride to the Packerland!!

I am looking forward to it Brian. Got lots of work for about 6 weeks to 2 months but you can count on it. I need to pick up a truckload of cheese.

This has already been said I'm sure but change Isn't always to the liking of some. It's no big deal and I can somewhat understand that sentiment/mindset. It's been my experience when change occurs It takes some getting used to and eventually everything Is as It should be to that particular Individual. As for the the apparent slowdown.....It's time to fish and It always runs In cycles.

In the end though,at least for me, the site Is free, the information Is unbelievable, and there are many that share freely. You really can't beat this.

I would be more than willing to pay monthly for this site that's how much I enjoy what's brought to the table. It being free Is absolutely phenominal

Well hey Glenn, if it makes any difference to you, the new forum does not make much difference for me.... but if anything, I say it's a slightly positive one. It seems to open a little faster + I like the "find all of my content" link. Makes it easy to go back to any / all of my stuff for replies.

The photo viewer is the best yet, also.

Thank you for "still, the best bass fishing site on the internet".

Peace,

Fish
