Hookingem and I hit the ponds again today and had another great day despite POURING rains. We were both soaked straight through, but we were catching them, so who cares? Apparently it was "spit or swallow" day for the fishies this morning. AJ hooked two real deep on a little crank, and we both had our fair share of good ones come unbuttoned. I shook a 6+ on a swim jig and AJ did the same on the Mattlures Baby Bass. He also shook a ~5 pounder on a squarebill, and I lost a 4+ on a swim jig again!

All together we probably caught about 18-20 between the seven ponds we hit. We got a LOT of 3's today, but no bigger fish wanted to play.

Here's a 3.5 AJ got on the Mattlures. I'm only posting this because they're hard to keep on once they bite, and it was pretty exciting to actually land a good one!

Were gonna try our best to stay on em all year! I'm still a little shaken about losing that one on the swimbait....

Same here! When that six rolled on the jig I just about lost it!

Sounds like you guys have some real good ponds lined up. Hopefully you will close the deal on the next big one that bites.

There is an 8 point albino buck that lives there. The local news even did a documentary thing on him.

Any time Matt! It would really be a pleasure to fish with you.
