Well went out a little this afternoon and found 12 black morels! My first black ones I have ever found. Should be a good season here in southwest PA!

I try mushroom hunting every year and I can't ever find the dang things on purpose! Only time I ever find them is walking around ponds bank fishing and stumbling across them.

They are magic when sauteed in a cast iron skillet with a little butter and garlic and placed over the top of a nice bone in ribeye...... :tongue23:
