MaineBassMan Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Boy it was cold today! My reels and guides on the rods were freezing up. Saw a deer getting chased by a coyote, the deer swum across the stream then I fired a few shots at the coyote, the deer lived to see another day . My father went with me and he ended up getting the dollar for big fish. :unsure Actually, he caught all of the bass I didn't get one bite! Oh well; at least my Dad had a good day. He caught all four of them on a Texas rigged pacca craw. He pretty much caught them all in a five foot circle dead sticking the bait. The biggest of the four went 3lbs. 05oz. The water temp was 44.2 degrees. I think I'm going to try some smallmouths tomorrow even though the weather isn't going to be any better. My Dad says he ain't going again until it warms up a little. Well here are three of the four bass he caught, hopefully I can convince a few smallmouth to bite tomorrow? 3lbs 05oz. dollar bass 2lbs 14oz 1lbs 11oz. dink bass but his first for 2011 Quote
