War Party Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 What size bass are you catching on 10" worms vs. 6-7.5? Will a 10-32oz. bass knock the snot out of the 10" worm??? Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted May 15, 2009 Super User Posted May 15, 2009 An eight inch bass will knock the snot out of it. It's all about profile.Sometimes they want it big and sometimes they want it smaller. You do however increase your chances of catching bigger bass on the big worms but may Sometimes limit your number of bites.A couple of the ponds I fish they are on big worms right now and we are catching a lot of them 1lb or less. Siebert Outdoors Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I've caught extremely tiny fish on a 10" worm before. Typically though it weeds out the 12- size fish. I generally catch 14+" fish off them. Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 15, 2009 Super User Posted May 15, 2009 I caught a 14-inch bass on a 10-inch Rage Tail Annie. Go figure. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted May 15, 2009 Super User Posted May 15, 2009 Small fish will cream 10'' worms. It's surprising but you'll get a lot of bluegill hits as well. Quote
