Fisher of Men Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Preparation H does not work nearly as well as MegaStrike. The reverse is also true. Would be coffee on the keyboard if it was morning. I gave you a +1 for that! Quote
SDoolittle Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 For it's intended use, Preparation H must work better than Preparations A-G. How would you like to have been the guinea pig when they were testing that stuff? Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted April 14, 2011 Author Super User Posted April 14, 2011 The really strange thing is; Prep H was developed for use as a lubricant for small machinery. I wonder who had the idea for using it for what it's now sold for? I don't even want to speculate how that came about. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted April 14, 2011 Super User Posted April 14, 2011 I would consider the place where its intended for now small machinery. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted April 15, 2011 Super User Posted April 15, 2011 Preparation H will give the same results as some of the cosmetic facial skin tightening ointments & creams or so I have read. Quote
SDoolittle Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Preparation H will give the same results as some of the cosmetic facial skin tightening ointments & creams or so I have read. Okay, true story here. I was at the National Training Center in California a few years back, and my feet became extremely chapped due to constant sweating and drying. The bottom of my feet and in between my toes was cracking and bleeding, so I asked my platoon medic for help. He handed me a tube of Preparation H, and he told me to put it on my feet. At first, I thought he was nuts, but I was desperate, so I gave it a try. My feet were almost completely healed overnight. Quote
Sfritr Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Preparation H is often recommended by tattoo artists as a treatment to aid healing of a new tattoo. The active ingredient in Preparation H shrinks capillaries and reduces blood flow to the freshly tattooed area. This allows for the inked site to heal faster, as reduced blood flow calls for less touching and rubbing, and therefore less interference with the ink setting. Apply a thin layer of Preparation H over the tattooed area of skin, no more than twice a day, and for no more than 2-3 days Read more: Uses for Preparation H | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how_4690565_uses-preparation-h.html#ixzz1JaknvWAw And this too...... It's non-staining, water-soluable, and slippery as goose turds. Quote
