I received mail today and dont know where or how they got my info but they sent me a decal of a bass and some other little nic nacs and they were wanting me to become a member. but it gets better i get free magazines and the membership is only a dollar a month or something. they also asked me if i would like to try a batecaster a rod and some line and also a lure and all i had to do was try them and send a questionier from using the products and i get to keep the products for free. as anyone else i was like man thats nice and maybe too nice so i looked it up on google on scams and some people said they had trouble with it and i was wondering if anyone else has tried it or a member and can clear it up that it isnt a scam or it is a scam thanks and beaware.

I bit on that worm 15 years ago and didn't see the hook until I got 4 cookbooks that I couldn't stop from coming. Not my cup of tea thanks.

Before I lock this thread (Because that's what we do with threads about scam companies) let me explain the NAFC/NAHC.

They are perhaps the worst magazine in the industry. They sucker you in by saying you will have a chance at receiving free product to test out and then you get to keep it. My father has been a member of the NAHC for over 20 years and the coolest thing he has received is a little key chain. It is a scam to get you to subscribe to their magazine and that's it.
