Super User Fishing Rhino Posted April 13, 2011 Super User Posted April 13, 2011 Quick, simple, neat fix. Heat shrink tubing. Get the smallest size that will accomodate the lace. Cut into inch long pieces, slip over the end of the lace, apply heat, done. No more fussing around with electrical tape for me. Quote
grampa1114 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Or you could just break down and buy new shoelaces for the cost of the heat shrink... unless of course you're savin' up for your road trip... 1 Quote
Uncle Leo Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 That's the sailor in Tom, you need to adapt and improvise. Amazing what can be fixed at sea when the real Mc Coy is not available. Good one Tom. Quote

True, but I'd have to get the shoelaces. I have the heat shrink in stock. Quote
