Recently, my wife harrassed me because i will only wear my jeans once and only once before they go to the wash. she can wear her jeans two days in a row before washing.....NOT ME!!

i dont know what it is, but once i wear them (regardless of what i am doing in them), they have to be washed before i can wear them again

am i the only wack job that has this mind set?

If im just hanging around or going out to eat with the GF. I dont feel they need to be washed. However if Im working outside around the house or on the boat, they are going in the wash. Depends on what I was doing.

depends on what i was doing if they get muddy or greasy i wash em befor i wear them again exept my work jeans ill wear the same pair all week cuz grease is inevitable as a diesel mechanic so work jeans get worn all week long. they also come off soon as i get home.

now on that side of things........i work in the office and only wear jeans on fridays and weekends. my weekend activities are very CLEAN and i never need to worry about getting dirty. so you'd think i would be the poster child for re-wearing my jeans over and over and over :D

Hanging around the house=5+ days.I don't wear them for more than 3-5 hours before I got to change into my work clothes(uniform pant & shirt).

If I'm doing some stuff where they do get dirty, then they go into the wash. Otherwise no...I'll wear them till I think they need to go into the wash basket.

I voted 4..not because of days in a row necessarily but because that's how many times i will wear them before i wash them. I heard a few fashion people once talk about jeans and the fact that they were NOT to be washed. Now granted not washing them at all would be just nasty but they had a good point. Ever notice that jeans fit better after you wear them on that first day. It was stated that jeans actually form to your body after use therefore are more comfortable when worn more without washing. Once you wash them you have to start all over because washing actually "resets the fabric " and they will not be formed to your body. >>>so there a little bit of usless info that carry around in my head and another indication that i need to not let the wife choose what we watch on TV a night..:D

Until I have to chase them with a bat and knock them out....

Just kidding. It depends.

While we're on the subject of denim, I just got my first pair of overalls, a set of blue denim Carhartts. I don't care what I look like in 'em (actually I look quite good) they are as comfortable as heck and awesome to fish in. I got them mainly to do yard work but I fish in them more than I work in them.

Also depends on if they are dirty or not or if I've been sweating or not. If I wear a pair to school (my work) or church, I will probably fold them back up and put them on the shelf.

Dude, I´m a veterinarian, instead of asking me how many days can I wear a pair of jeans before washing better ask me how many hours can I keep them clean.

I wear mine until they are visibly dirty or noticeably smelly, which can be anywhere from 1 wear to 10 or more depending on what I was doing in them. I usually won't wear the same pair multiple days in a row though.

X2 on the "I don't wear jeans, they are way too uncomfortable".

And if I did, I would wash them after each wearing.

If you wear your jeans for , say, 10 days in a row, how often do your change the rest of your attire???

Provided I don't get them dirty I'll go 4 days. I have a very good friend who will never use his bath towel more than once before it goes in the laundry. Aren't you clean when you use your bath towel? I don't get that one.

I have chore jeans that I wear when I am out working on the farm or on outdoor projects. I take them off in the laundry room as soon as I come in. Those will get worn for a while, it depends on what I am doing and how much cow manure is on them. For hangin' 'round the house, maybe a day or two. For work I wear a new pair every day.
