O.K.  Let me ask a question as I am granted this situation.

You are blessed with $825.00 and are in market for a new fish finder.  Do you A.  get the new Lowrance HD5X for $625 after discount and rebate from BPS and have a couple extra bucks to blow on a good rod or tackle or B.  Buy a Lowrance 510c (cause you already have a GPS) and have $500 for a few Rods Reels etc?

I am curious to hear the responses and will gladly take any feedback as I am torn on what to do????? :-/

I would also take B.  I personally have the Lowrance HDS and have looked at the B model also.  Of course their is a difference, but I know what is a rockpile and tree without having the high dollar HDS model.

I choose option C.  Take your $825 in free money, and combine it with $175 of non-free money and buy the 'bird 798si.  It has 2d and Si sonar....you can split the screen and have both up at the same time.
