I went to my old trophy bass lake Rancho Seco yesterday. The place where I caught, and still hold the lake record, of 18.4 lbs. It's barely a shadow of it's old self though :(

It's still possible to get a 10+ fish out of there... but good luck. The trip was more for old times sake, than anything else.

Anyway, the fish are pretty much in the post spawn, lock-jaw mode. I did manage to stick this one nice 5 or 6 lb'er, on a Huddlebug though. First Largemouth of the year.

Nice Fish! Should have weighted that baby! Looks more like 6+ to me! Good to get out and catch your first "real bass"

Nice fish! I always enjoy your striper and sturgeon posts, but I like hearing about you catching the big green ones! :)
