I've been knocking them out lately with a Chrome/Blue back Rattletrap and a Green Threadfin Red Eye Shad. 75%+ C/BB Rattletrap though

I use alot of red lipless baits in the spring on lake guntersville in the milfoil.

I use ghost, rayburn red, black/gold, sexy shad in the xcalibur xr50 bait line.

Primarily shad, gold, ghost colors, and chartreuse. Add in whatever accent colors you'd like. They all work.

I use Excalibur XR50s a majority of the time in ghost, foxy momma, rayburn red, and gold black. The Red Eye shad in Sexy shad does get the nod every once in awhile too though.

For the most part, I like something shiny, chrome colored. A Berkley Frenzy Rattle bait in a chrome gizzard shad color is what I use most of the time.

The color is "Top Secret". It's a custom paint that is very similar to gold TN Shad on gold prism. It's a neat color.

Anything and everything works for me, so long it's not flashy or translucent. I fish stained waters a lot, and have little to no confidence in those. If you want just one color, it's gotta be "sexy shad" though. :)

Chrome/blue with a little orange nail polish around the front hook is my favorite.

Otherwise, I mainly use blue/chart, black/gold, and some kind of neutral minnow color.

Last season, I was having my best luck with a black/chrome XR50 that I speckled like a crappie with black and green Sharpies. I would run this bait through or just under suspended crappie schools and aggressive catch bass.
