Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted April 12, 2011 Super User Posted April 12, 2011 On Sunday I spooled one of my reels up with this line. Holy crappie dude. I could feel every blade of grass and twig my crankbaits was hitting yesterday. Does line really make a rod that much more sensitive? I mean I've always had great sensitivity on my carbonlite, but this was completely new to me. I ususally use seaugar florou, spiderwire stealth, or spiderwire camo. I'm completely blown away by this. northern basser Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Its nice line! I've used it on casting and spinning now. No need to buy PP anymore. Quote
oteymc Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I just spooled one of my reels with it, haven't got to fish with it yet. I seemed really nice just messing around with it in the yard. Quote
piscicidal Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Yeha, braid will greatly increase your sensitivity. I've got 832 spooled up on ~6 rods right now. It seems like it is twisting up more than normal, especially on the flipping/pitching rods. Does that strand of Gore material woven in, increase the likihood of twisting? It seems like it to me... I'm changing my pitching/flipping rigs back to Sufix performance braid. It's cheaper now that 832 is out anyway... Quote
