Super User Sam Posted April 7, 2011 Super User Posted April 7, 2011 The Dogwoods Have Bloomed in Richmond, Virginia!!! The Dogwoods Have Bloomed in Richmond, Virginia!!! Let's go fishing, boys!!!! Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Should we all run to our boats as you sound the dogwood alarm? Sam, I must say I have now been online studying dogwood trees thanks to your posts. Literally everyone up here in D.C. is cherry blossom crazy and here I am yelling "Forget the cherry trees, what about those dogwoods!!" Will be trying to hit the water twice this weekend, so hopefully the dogwood alarm will bring the bass Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Sam, not in my front yard, but that tree is usually late. I called you today Sam, give me a ring back. Quote
Super User Micro Posted April 7, 2011 Super User Posted April 7, 2011 The bass on my waters don't give a darn that the dogwoods are blooming. I see the vast majority of the beds, and big girls, in mid to late April, after the blooms are good and brown. Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 8, 2011 Author Super User Posted April 8, 2011 Oh Great Micro, Friend hit Lake Chesdin today. In 30 minutes he caught two and lost two plus had two other bites. Not bad for green stained water in the middle of the afternoon. The Dogwoods have blossomed!!!! Quote
