Bass XL Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I got bored last week, and decided to shoot the manager of the closest Bass Pro an email just stating how much I love the sport and if they're ever hiring in the fishing department, to give me a call. Well one thing lead to another, and they wanted to set up an interview with me. I've got the interview tomorrow, so hopefully all goes well! If I do get hired...those employee discounts are going to kill me Quote

Bass XL Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 Well guys, I got the job! They called me Thursday to come in for a 3rd in final interview. Went in, they told me I'd be working the Marine area, especially depth finders. I'm really excited. Super User clayton86 Posted April 24, 2011 Super User Posted April 24, 2011 Nice lucky sob I had a job offer at the auburn one in ny but I was at annual training for the guard when they wanted me to start and I couldent take the job. 6mo later they called back cuz the guy they hired didn't work out and my mother in law took the call and didn't tell me for 2 weeks I don't think iv ever cussed some out as much as I did that day lol Quote

I like the Independence store better than the one in Olathe even though it's further away. I worked at Cabela's in KC in the fishing department for 5 years and trust me getting a paycheck home is hard to do! Quote
