i keep seeing commercials on versus about these baits and i looked up there website, they have some things that interest me. Especially the scent that smells like the hormones that minnows/other forage give off to alert each other when they are in danger and make the bass more enticed. I like the look of there frog and some worms. Have any of you guys tried them?

I've tried them a couple of times, but without success. I'll probably give them another shot (they've got to be used eventually) when I get the chance to fish again. To me they just seem like Gulp! brand plastics, they even smell similar to me, but see if you can find a pack at a local store (a Sports Authority near me had a sale, that's why I tried them) and pick up your favorite style and color and see how it performs. To me that's the best way to see if a bait is worth it or not.

They did not work for me. Like Oscar, they have to get used eventually, so I will try them again but I'm not going to waste valuable time with them. I would pass them by.

All of our local tackle stores put them all on clearance and got rid of them. I never tried any of them but I did not hear very good things about them from anyone I talked to.

I bought some tubes when they were on clearance at Wal-Mart last year. For $.50 they were great...for actual retail they are an absolute rip-off. The ones I bought were marked down from $7.99 and were only 4-6 in a pack. They tear really easily, dryout quick, and stink terribly. I had some success with them but nothing amazing compared to regular tubes.

i had a bag leak as well, what i did was buy a bottle of the trigger-x spray, and put it in my gulp alive tray thing, works really well.

i have used the 3" walleye grubs with pretty good success, with both walleye and smallies. got a couple packs of tubes but havent had a chance to use them. the bass series doesnt have the liquid that the walleye series does and they dont smell nearly as bad.

on the walleye site i post on i have heard pretty good things about trigger-x baits, here it seems different. not sure where you guys were seeing them for 7.99, they are usually around $5.50-6.

Yeah, not a big fan...I got some for free and have yet to get a bite on em'. I wouldnt buy these. Ill stick to Zoom, Strike-King, Berkley, BBB, and LFT for my plastics.

You can buy em all day long here for $2 a pack at walmart. Even at that price i still don't see many movin off the shelf. I got a few of the back and bule chunk style trailers but my goodness do they stink!!:puke_blue:

All of the Walmarts have them for 2 bucks a pack near me. I haven't tried them, hearing they are close to Gulp, and I do not care for Gulp (For bass fishing at least...).
