milepost43 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 http://www.earthweek.com/2010/ew100730/ew100730b.html Wonder if it proves true how it may affect our 2011 smallmouth fishing trip. We found 2010 different than the previous 5 years.
Super User Lund Explorer Posted August 1, 2010 Super User Posted August 1, 2010 I've been fishing the great lakes (Michigan and Huron) for a number of years and for all types of species. These lakes always seem to be going through changes year to year. This year just happens to be on the extreme side of warm. It probably provides the perfect reason why you should be keeping a detailed fishing log. At some point in the future, we'll see this type of thing happen again.
AFISHN Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Ok I've been shoveling snow now for a few weeks in January 2011. what do you think will happen on the Gt lakes this year??

Locked Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Al Gore said this would happen! The earth goes through natural warming and cooling cycles.
Dave T. Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Al Gore said this would happen! The earth goes through natural warming and cooling cycles. Well, I don't necessary agree with Al Gore, but if you think that the depletion of the ozone layer and creation of greenhouse gases by humans is a "natural warming cycle"... more power to you.
Super User J Francho Posted February 5, 2011 Super User Posted February 5, 2011 What did I say about Al Gore posts? See Ya!
