Super User roadwarrior Posted September 9, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 9, 2010 Well, I had never fished one until last spring. Then after a few guys caught 140 smallmouth one day, I took a little more interest in the Baby Craw. I got more than my share on the RoadTrip and have been fishing them ever since. If you're not, you're cheating yourself! The first time I fished the MegaBug on Kentucky Lake I caught a 4-5 lb smallmouth and a few largemouth with ghoti. I've had pretty good luck with the bait all summer. In a few weeks I plan on feeding both these baits to my pet smallmouth. Chances are you're going to be hearing a lot more about the Baby and the Bug! : Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted September 10, 2010 Author Super User Posted September 10, 2010 For the Baby Craw: #2 straight bait hook, 1/8 or 1/4 oz weight, T-rigged or on a split shot rig (weight attached about a foot up). For the MegaBug: 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hook, 1/4 oz weight. 8-) Quote
