smashingsmallies Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 In reference to my new intrigue of the crankbait, I've noticed the "square bills" on the cranks work really well when bouncing of the bottom--wether it's rocks, or wood. I say they work very well as in they don't get snagged up very much at all. Are there any others out there who have the same results? Is there a better bill for a crank to use? Fish on, John. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted June 28, 2010 Super User Posted June 28, 2010 I always use square bills around cover. Especially through wood. The dynamics makes them kick off obstacles much better and they do produce. Always had My best luck on LM though. Not much cover to worry about in open water where the smallies like to hang out in summer. Quote
