jenga Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I have been fishing lSC the last couple of weeks. I would suggest you to fish deep. The males are on beds at the mile roads. I am fishing Anchor bay on sat. Black Skeeter. Jenga Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 I might fish anchor bay Monday. I'll probably head south sunday. Hows the fishing close to the firecracker? Quote
Bass Afishinado Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 You should do well. Looks like good weather too. I'm fishing it tomorrow (5-12) Quote
Sfritr Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Good Luck. I am also thinking of heading down there on Monday (weather permitting) Let me know, I'll be in the black/silver stratos with the Blaze orange Hicks Outdoors pro staff stickers. Will probably be putting in at the 9 mile marina. man they have good burgers there.............. Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted May 12, 2010 Super User Posted May 12, 2010 Good Luck ~ hope this wind lets up a bit for you guys. A-Jay Quote
jenga Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I haven't fished near the firecracker yet this year. My brothers are out right now and they are saying it is really muddy. If you are going to fish south on sat. I would try windmil pt. and the delphine chan. But if the water doesnt clean up it may be tough fishing. I think I am going to give the bay a try since I haven't fished it yet this year but if it is muddy then I am going to move. Good luck Jenga Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Does St Clair flush out real quick? I still have until sunday? Last time I fished I was around St Clair shores and it was muddy but we caught fish. We went out by the firecracker and caught a in the gin clear water. The muddier warm water was where they were. It was 68deg verses 52 if I remember right. Quote
Sfritr Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 The chocolate milk water doesn't deter me as much as the 15-30mph winds. LSC can get nasty!!! and even though we won't be far from shore my 18ft bass boat does not like 3-5 footers. Come to think of it, Neither do I.... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-/ Quote
blueultra2 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Last Tuesday the water temp near the 400 club was 61-62 and the water was clear at 8'. But from what I've heard the water is really muddy and water temp has dropped to 50!!! It's hard to believe how much it can change in a week. Here's some from last week. My PB 3lb 8oz... My friend's 5lb 11oz... And his 4lb 14oz... He has been taking annual trips there but it was my first time. Now he has to take TWO annual trips!! 8-) Quote
JacobK Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Good luck GMAN! Give me a call if you need anything, I only live a few miles from LSC. Quote
Ontario Bass Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Good luck on the trip. I can't wait to see some pictures. Quote
