BassFishingMachine Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 How do you do this? I have some rattles which I collected from jigs, but how would I attach them to soft baits? Any tips? Quote

BassFishingMachine Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 But how do you attach them to the bait? Your suppose to literally push them inside the plastic? Quote
Tim Ford Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 But how do you attach them to the bait? Your suppose to literally push them inside the plastic? Yep. If you have a worm, for example, just push the pointed end of the rattle into the plastic worm. That's all there is to it. If I'm using a worm rattle, I put the rattle between the eye and point of the hook, that way it doesn't interfere with the movement of the worm's tail. Plus, to me, it seems more secure there. Quote
BlakeMolone Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Putting a drop of super glue in the hole the rattle makes will probaly make it stay in better. Quote
Big Mike in Fl Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I use the rattlin screw in bullet weights form Gambler, those work real well, and you won't lose them with your plastics. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted May 4, 2009 Super User Posted May 4, 2009 A cheaper solution would be the renegade worm rattles that can be bought at Walmart for 2-3 bucks Quote
bassin is addicting Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 do they work? it seems to me that imbedding it in the plastic/worm will deaden any sound??? just curious... :-/ Quote
