Lake erie water temps off Erie PA are 50 degrees as of 4/27/09. The fish are starting to get active. Here is sixer.

Bigbassguy No I didn't measure any of mine.  PK, a Georgia boy got a 6lb-3oz which was his pb & it measured 21.5 long by about 16 girth.

Great pictures , I hope to be heading up soon.  We usually pound them in PIB but this year would like to fish more in the big lake. Around what depths were you fishing if you don't mind. Again congrats on some great fish.

Sage look for rocky bottom in the 10 to 30 foot depths. If you find humps work it over good.

Thanks , like I said before my dad and I have had a lot of 80-100 smallie days in the bay. But they usually top out around 4# or so for us. Would love to get into some 5-6 lbers. Plus with the deeper water and there shoulders you cant beat that.
