Tips for high/muddy water?

[Delaware Valley Tackle]

The weather's been keeping the Delaware high and muddy for a week or two. Does anyone have suggestions for these conditions? I was thinking some dark jigs and Colorado blade spinner-baits in the flooded cover.

That's a much bigger river than the one I mostly fish up here but the only things that have produced well in this mess have been the 4" Yam hula grub....dark green..pumpkinseed I think as well as 1/4-1/2 rattle traps. No luck on spinnerbaits at all. Tubes when its less angry and some luck on Chatreuese cranks.

Biggest fish in these conditions for me were with those Yama grubs. I cast out upstream as far as possible and let the current take it until the lure feels like it's in an eddy or bumping against structure and work it until i get hit, sometimes the strike comes shortly after it hits the water and sometimes I work that thing WAY downstream. Most fish are also tucking close to the banks not far from their usual haunts in normal conditions.

High, brown, water here also.

Just last night I caught 6 on a chatterbait fished with a medium speed retrieve.

Have been getting fish on a 1/2 oz spinnerbait w/ tandem gold blades.

Black neon tube has caught a few.

Manns Baby 1 minus in craw pattern also been working. I think the wide wobble is it's key in dirty water.

High, brown water on the Susquehanna also.  A few guys are having luck with the pink bubble gum flukes fished in along the weed beds.
