I fish for smallies in rivers. My daughter, bless her heart, surpised me for my birthday with a 6' medium action Bass Pro Crankin Stik with a pistol grip and an Abu 4600 C3.

Would this be a good combo for topwater and crankbaits?

I already have a good spinning outfit I use.
