Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 3, 2013 Super User Posted January 3, 2013 Dwight how big is that one in your purple shirt? Looks like it has to go 71/2-8lbs...nice! The all purple shirt pic was a 23" smallie that weighed 6-12. The last pic with the black fleece on weighed 7-6. D*mn Dwight how much do you get out on Eerie? And how do you sell the old lady on that much fishing? That one is easy. A happy wife makes for a happy husband. Besides after 42 years of marriage she is glad to get rid of me for a few hours. 1 Quote

Spotswood Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Man there are some beautiful smallies in here, I'm relatively new to bass fishing, with only 2 seasons under my belt, but here's a couple of mine. Nice colors on this one, not my biggest, but my favorite from 2012. Caught in Whiteshell Prov. Park Manitoba. My PB, caught in 2011, Eagle Lake, Ontario. Love the tiger stripes on it. Too bad I was by myself, so could only get this pic. Quote

jhoffman Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I was bundled up pretty good that day, it was just above freezing, this fish was caught at the break of day. Theres a powerplant in front of me and behind me is the warm water discharge. I actually caught a bass that day on a piece of a red plastic bag. Never seen anything like it. You could throw any and everything into the water and catch a fish. I caught one also on a piece of pepper jack cheese from my sandwhich. My buddy took me on this trip and I cant remember if his boat had a jet or not. Havent been able to get ahold of him lately. I want to run my boat there if its deep enough. You used to be able to walk to this spot pre 9/11 but they shut that down. You need a boat to get there now and theres no floating down stream. You must go up from below. Quote
