twelvebass Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Just wondering what you guys recommend for tubes and grubs? Quote
twelvebass Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 ok just realized, that I left out a pieceof critical info. I was asking about rods, just failed to mention it. What rod action and power do you use for tubes and grubs? Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted March 15, 2009 Super User Posted March 15, 2009 I concur with the above, but my preferrance is 6# - 8# test fluorocarbon lines. My reason is that these lines sink pretty rapidly whereas the braids or fused lines have a tendency to float; thereby creating a bit more of a belly between your rod tip and your jig. Quote
SuskyDude Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Rod power? Or action? They're two different things. For tubes and grubs I'd go with medium power, fast action. I use 6# p-line cxx. Tried braid a few times in my river and it's nothing but a nightmare. Quote
