thought it was warm enough to wade today, the water was colder than it was last trip so i fished a lot from the bank around rocks and deep pockets using jigs and spinner baits. ugly sticks can catch fish. not that big but was fun.

i caught 9 total fish there wasn't an inch between all of them but with every hook set each fish felt as it might be a little bigger but they all were about the same size. the funny part was i used my stella and g-loomas set up the first 2 hours didn't even get a bite went back to the truck switched rods went to a cabela's prodigy reel mounted on a ugly stick second cast caught the first fish. still shaking my head on what happened on this trip.

ha... i KNEW IT! ;D

WOAH!!! look at the fin behind the gill on the first one!! :-[

What about it?  The fish apparently moved its fin while he was taking the pic.

Why the embarrassed smiley?   ::)

very nice it must be nice to be fishing already. The water up here is still very hard, and it doesn't look like we are going to have an early ice out! :(
