trophypig Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 looks very healthy 5 1/2 to me maybe bigger hard to say depending on the size of belly, looks really fat though. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted September 20, 2008 Super User Posted September 20, 2008 How big you think the one is of me in the white shirt? Hard to tell but I'd give it at least 5lb Quote
Mrs. Matstone Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Awesome smallies. Congrats! ;D Quote
GRIZZ Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Nice fish brother... That fish in the last picture, looks bigger? Closer to 6lbs then 5, or just over... Did you have the fish on the ground or is that a fungus on the fish? Either way it's a hog! Quote
yellowcard129 Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 No, not fungus - that's sand from me landing the fish from shore by sliding him up onto a beach shoreline. I release all my fish within 2 minutes of catching them so no harm done. Quote
GRIZZ Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 yellowcard129...Like to hear how you caught that night time one, smallie??? Nice fish! Quote
fishizzle Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I'm gonna have to move great fish Quote
yellowcard129 Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Yeah, that one at night I caught on a spinnerbait. I cast out and let it sink to the bottom. Then slowly jerk it along the bottom and it seems to get a bite here and there when just a normal retrieve isnt working. You gotta change it up, I casted in that exact spot 15 times trying different retrieves before that one finally hit. Quote
