bigfruits Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 spinning gear, grubs, tubes, 4" worms, small jigs, small cranks, small spinnerbaits, inline spinners. start with small baits. if the fish are very aggressive or if you are catching too many dinks, use larger baits. good luck -z Quote

bigfruits Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 both. i like to use 4 inch senkos. t-rig, drop shot. whatever. theyre like largemouth but they hang around structure not necessarily cover. fish rocky bottom. if there is an area with current, fish there. behind big rock blocking current = smallmouth. favorite way for me to catch them is on a finesse jigs (bitsy bug, eakins) with small trailer, 1/4oz. hope this helps, -z Quote
