New Smallie PB

I went wading on the Rappahannock River in Fredricksburg, Virginia and caught my new PB, a nice 2lb smallie.

That fight was awesome to witness in person.  You definately hooked that beast solid.  When he made that last dart back under the water behind you I thought your line was toast.  Way to go Dad.  I'm glad I got to be there for that.

Jay, I am glad you were with me for this new PB, that was one heck of a fight he put up.  I had him right next to me and his mouth above the water, when he made one last effort to get away, he fought like a champ.

Thanks guys, I caught him on a gitzit tube (blue wih multi-colored specs).  They were in a small kit that I picked up at wally world.
