NorDoor Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Great looking fish NorDoor. Do you do alot of river fishing over there? Not really. The 1 river that's close is has a closed season until July.Across the Bay of Green Bay from me is the Menominee River. It's a prolific smallmouth fishery.I've thought about hiring this guy to learn the system over there.Maybe this fall. Here's the link. Some good info there also. http://www.mikemladenik.com/pages/guide-service.php Quote
WTRDOG Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 The fun in fishing is finding them, new water can be tough. Why would you want to hire someone to show you around .Put the time in and it will make you feel better finding the spots yourself. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted June 8, 2008 Super User Posted June 8, 2008 I'm on a river that feeds into the EauPleine reservoir. My river fishing is easy enough, but trying to figure out the reservior, that's gonna be my challenge. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 9, 2008 Super User Posted June 9, 2008 WOO-HOO! Fine fish and excellent pics! 8-) Quote

Great fish and pics!!! I agree finding honeyholes is what separates you from the rest. On Lake Erie it's a joy to find a rockpile the size of a Volkswagon Beetle in 2.25 million acres of Ohio water. And when you do find them sometimes they are all yours and loaded with tons of pig smallies! Quote
GStrider Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I didn't know Roger Clemens was into bass fishing. Great fish. Quote
Denea Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Definitely some awesome smallies there, great pics Quote
Tom Hull Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 SO VERY NICE! AGAIN I AM ENVIOUS OF, BUT HAPPY FOR YOU. Quote
