sean0920 Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 i know you have been down this road before but what colors do you like? i am fishing a clear, deep water main lake, with some flats and trees, but mostly rocky shores(bluffs) we do well with the usual colors like green pumpkin and watermelon with the jigs and i figure this would rollover onto the ika but just wanted to get your views thanks again sean Quote

wisturkeyhunter Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Hard to go wrong with any dark color. That goes to for all soft plastics not just the ika. Green pumpkin is good as is black, some of the different browns are good too. Quote
jaystraw Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Green Pumpkin is the color I have the most success with. Quote
procraft68 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I like the green pumpkin, watermellon / candy and green pumpkin / candy. That extra candy color seem to really work well for me on Erie, Detroit River, St. Clair River and Lake St Clair. Hope it helps. Hook em hard, Snag Quote
alarcher Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Green Pumpkin, Watermelon, then black with blue fleck. Quote
Davis Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Green Pumpkin black flake is my go to Fat Ika color. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Super User Posted June 10, 2008 Why do "they" call it Green Pumpkin? It is not green and no part of a pumpkin is brown...at least not in my neck of the woods! At least the color watermelon somewhat represents it's namesake. Quote
