procraft68 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Did I read it wrong or is the non resident canadian fishing license $ 91.00??? HOLY CRAP !!! Do they not want us fishing there or not? Kinda puts a damper on St. Clair River, Detroit River and certian spots on Erie. As if gas prices wern't enough. I'm hoping maybe I read that wrong. Somebody tell me I did. Snag Quote
thetr20one Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I think a P.A. non-resident license is over $50. I was wondering the same about them! Quote
BigBass DEZ Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Most states lic fee for non resident are allways that highest in cost . What i have told myself is that if im not fishing that body of water more than three times , its not worth it .. you can also look at getting the one day lic they are around 10-20 bucks per day or even just the weakend lic . thats my two cents Quote
thetr20one Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 A three day in P.A. is $25-$35 still pricey! Quote

Glad to see you here. Yeah, $91 US does seem steep, butin WA state, if you want to fish both fresh and salt, it's about $50 for residents! Ouch!!! I don't even want to look up the non-resident fee is. Quote
wisturkeyhunter Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I bet alot of crappy states are close to that or even more expensive so it don't seem to bad since canada is good fishing. Quote

True but between $ 3.90 gas and $ 25.00 a night for camping that $ 91.00 will cut into my "campfire hydration" for the nights during our 2 day tournament.. Don't know what I'll do yet. Maybe some overtime.. Who knows. Thanks all, Snag Quote
Super User VolFan Posted June 6, 2008 Super User Posted June 6, 2008 I know Quebec's is $35 for a five day Non-res, and your spouse can fish on it too. Seems like a deal to me. Quote
Pond-Pro Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Yeah, a non resident PA license is like $61. They make you pay extra if you plan too fish lake Erie, whats up with that!? I think the price of non resident licenses is just ridiculous. You would think that they would lower the non resident cost in order to increase the number of visitors. :-/ Quote
