huskybass Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 If I was limited to 7 baits to get me through a whole year of smallmouth fishing, these would be my picks: Suspending Jerkbait Super Fluke Stalker 3.25" tube Spinnerbait Spider Grub Storm Wiggle Wart Sammy 100 or 115 What are your favorites? Thanks in advance. Quote

Tokyo Tony Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 #1 for me - suspending jerkbait. There's nothing like jerkin' it along super-fast, feeling an aggressive, line-stopping strike, then watching a p'd off smallie go airborn ;D Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted March 26, 2008 Super User Posted March 26, 2008 In no particular order: Spinnerbait Rattlin Rapalas X-Raps Shad Raps I bought alot of baits this off-season, maybe I'll have some new baits to add to my list. Falcon Quote
TournyFish001 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 tube wiggle wart If I only had those two baits I'd be content, although a lipless crank bait is up there as well. Quote
Scott C Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 what color wiggles do you like? I have a ton of them, and my buddy buys and resells storm as well....gonna hit up the smallies this weekend after i have had my fill of stripers. (i promise, no wood plank for me!) Quote
BASS fisherman Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I have to go slightly to the left on this one. I choose topwaters, not because they catch smallies the best, but because when a smallie hits a topwater you'll never forget it. Absolutley amazing!! Quote
