caught this 4 pound smallie a couple weeks ago, after a bone chilling run upriver in our jet boat.its a long ways from being my PB, but its my 25th 4 or 4+ pounder.just thought i'd share the pic with ya'll.hope ya liike.3lb15ozJames2.jpg

nice fish  where did u catch it?

He caught in the upper James River, but I forget the name of the ramp they launched from.

And I believe he caught the fish on a 5-inch green pumpkin GYCB senko.

Awesome fish, nothing like river smallies, looking forward to this spring. A close second to river smallies, Erie smallies and you better believe I'll be up there a lot this spring! You can catch 10 4lbers in a day! Gotta try it out if you never have. Guys in the north should take a trip up there.

Nice looking bronzeback. That's actually a great picture. You really get a sense of how broad the tail is on a big smallmouth. No question where they get their power.
