blake83 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 well i need some new jigs so i wanted to know what everybodys favorite color is. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted March 21, 2008 Super User Posted March 21, 2008 I like watermelon, green pumpkin, motoroil, white, and other various crayfish colors. For murky water blacks and neons are good too. Quote
fishizzle Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 All of the above are good colors but it depends on water clarity and season. In cold water(under 50 deg.), I use black and blue In warm water browns Quote
Super User 5bass Posted March 23, 2008 Super User Posted March 23, 2008 I am partial to browns and greens, especially browns. Quote
Mottfia Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I can also agree that all of those are great colors. I'd like to add Black and red to that. Especially if your river is loaded with crawfish. We discovered this combination color to be so effective after a 4 12 lb bass threw up a crawfish that was that color. Like Ike says, "Let the fish tell you what to do." Quote
CRSMALLJAW15 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 i always have been fond of my dads handmade watermelon red bucktails Quote
Super User Munkin Posted March 27, 2008 Super User Posted March 27, 2008 Light and dark brown 75% of the time Solid black for flipping muddy water Sometimes a white swim jig? Allen Quote
