Tokyo Tony Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I just picked this book up the other day, and it's really really informative. I've only read the first few chapters, but I've already learned a bunch about smallie behavior and seasonal locations. It reads like a textbook, so it's not the easiest reading, but I definitely recommend it. It goes through seasonal behavior on rivers, natural lakes, reservoirs, etc. If you're like me, the water in your area is frozen, so this is a good way to pass the time http://www.amazon.com/Smallmouth-Bass-Fisherman-Handbook-Strategies/dp/0929384504 Quote

Dean Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Always looking for stuff to add to my fishin' library Quote
MarVaBC Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 FYI - This one is supposed to be very good from what I hear. Plan on reading it soon. It focuses on smallie fishing from kayak...but it does cover a lot general smallie info like habitat, strategy, etc. http://www.blueridgekayakfishing.com/book_offer.html Quote
bugman Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 The In-Fishermen books are some of the best fishing books in print. The Largemouth book is a must read. Also take a look at KVD's Secrets of a champion. Quote
