Well, despite the all day rain when it was supposed to sunny and 75 ( It's Dec. 12 so I'm not really complaining) I went fishing. Good thing I did, because shortly after I got started I caught this beauty on a 1/8oz shaky head and a zoom finesse worm. 4lb even. I still cannot capture the true patterns on these fish with my crap camera, but this is not only the biggest smallie I've caught, it's the prettiest.  ;)

Man, is that a beautiful fish or what?

Congrats to you on your catch.

Now, you have to improve on it in 2008. ;)

That's one beaut of a smallie! Wish I could fish right now  :( Just got 12" of snow on top of single digit temps here in MA, so I guess it's going to be awhile before I can wet a line again. Congradulations on your PB though!

No, I caught it on the main lake, but took the pic at a buddy's dock (Not on Donegan, but close!). It was  pouring down rain when I landed him, so I brought him back for a pic, then let him go.
