I was just wondering where the smallies are right now in the rivers i fish the South Holston River here in East Tennessee. Where should i try should i try the calm water or should i hit the swifter water. I been throwing small Rapala #7 minnows and crawl dad plugs with no luck  >:(. So im wondering what would be the best bet for these fish right now and as the summer goes forword. What should i switch to and where should i find the fish at. Thanks for the info.

Focus on breaks in current, ridges, ledges, humps and pools: structure and transition.

I suggest jerkbaits early and late, soft plastics all day: grubs, Hula Grubs, lizards, craws and 3 1/2" tubes.
