Welcome aboard!

Jerkbaits are a good option, especially early and late in the day. Otherwise, Fat Ika, 3 1/2" tubes, GYCB Single Tail Hula Grub, grubs, spinnerbaits (especially single willow blades), hair jigs and lizards. Focus on structure and if there is any current, current breaks. Structure includes hunps, ledges, rock piles, boulders, steeply sloped points, channels and any transition. Smallmouth will almost always relate to some type of structure.

Feeding frenzy!

Forget about finesse, focus on jerkbaits: Lucky Craft Pointer 100, Original Tennessee Shad & Rapala X-Rap (08), white. Another option you will want to try is a white (pure white, white & silver or white & chartreuse) spinnerbait with silver willow blades.
