Bassin 24-7 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 What do you guys think about this plate? 1000 have to be pre-ordered before theyll produce them. Would you pay 35 extra $ for this plate? Im conseidering it. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I know ONE guy that will! RW- The plate monkey is calling, lol Quote
Madhouse27 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I know I certainly would. We have a few specialty plates available up here in Maine, but certainly nothing that cool. Get your order in. Quote
Bass Hammer Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I would. The best we have here in Georgia is a trout unlimited tag. Quote
basspro48 Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Sure, if it supports the department of game and fish then I think it's worth it. Quote
playmaker47 Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I wonder which state has the better license plate??? California or Georgia??? Quote
paparock Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Yes! I would pay $35 bucks for any bass on my plate but here in Arkansas the state charges you an extra $35 each year when you get a new sticker not a new plate just a little sticker. > I would not mind even paying some more if it was paid only once when you get a new plate. Bummer. I will just stick to my bass stickers (pun intended)! :-/ Hey! You just gave me an idea. Here in Arkansas we only get a rear plate from the state. Does anyone know of anyone making a decorative plate that I could put on the front of my truck with a big Smallmouth on it???? 8-) Quote
paparock Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Hey everyone I did some surfing on the net and found the front plate below. http://www.airstrikeinc.com/index.php?mod=product&id_prd=1312 8-) Quote

ball_coach_1 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Yep, I'd buy it...that is just cool. Wonder if the wife would tag it "cool"? Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 or if the wife will tag YOU for spending yet another $35 on fishing! lol Quote
bassdocktor Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Here in Illinois we have a similar series of plates called the sportsman's series. They have three plates one with a largemouth, pheasant, and deer. Like you other guys have there is an extra fee that is supposed to be given to I believe wildlife funding. Given a city ordinance in Chicago it is actually better to have one because if you have the normal "B" business plate on your pickup you get a ticket if you park on a side street. You actually see alot of those plate because they are only of the only plates that allow you to park your truck on the street. Although it does help the wildlife in a way just another crazy Chicago ordinance. bassdocktor Quote
Landis76 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I would do anything for one of those tags right now but I live in Kansas. The reason why I would totally dig one is because I was married in Tennesee and would LOVE to have one of those to hang in my fishing room even if it was blank. Quote
paparock Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I ran across this photo that would make a cool plate; maybe put there fate is in your hands. Quote
