TimJ Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I used to fish all kinds of lakes from down here up to Rideau, Ontario, Georgian Bay and in between them all. Had some fun on the old OV/GM Pro Bass circuits for a few years. I love the Kawarthas. If I'm lucky, I get one trip a year to that area now. I have been taking my sons to some of the lakes that I fished, like Rice, Simcoe, Sparrow. We fish Long Point at least once a year, early in July. stay in touch. Tim J Quote
Niagaraguy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Hey HSD nice too see another Canuck on the board. I'm just south of you in the St.Catharines area. Do ever come down to fish lake Erie? Rob Quote

Niagaraguy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 HSD I hit Erie every chance I get. As soon as the ice is gone I'm fishing the NY State waters.I love fishing the shallow water jerkbait/rattletrap fish. Rob Quote
HookSetDon Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Well Rob, I think I'm gonna have to bring the boat up your way this season, u can show me the erie ropes hahah Quote
Niagaraguy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Don if your willing too buy a New York State fishing licence, you won't have too wait till the end of June to catch some Erie smallies. Let me know and we'll get out for the NY State trophy season in May. Rob Quote
