JoePhish Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Hello folks. Been addicted to fishing my whole life. I grew up mostly fishing salt water off the south shore of Long Island However, bass fishing has been my true passion since I won a camp tourney at the age of 9. (Still have the trophy, lol.) Four years ago I moved down here to Florida where I can fish almost everyday. I've been lurking around this site for about a year now. All of you have been a tremendous help so far. I decided it's time to share my opinions, experiences and inquiries with all of you. Hopefully I can give back to this community. I'm a bank beater when it comes to bass. (I get out on a boat every so often for salt water though.) I see there are several others from this neck of the woods here, even another from The Gardens. Since I'm still exploring new territory maybe some of you can point out some good places for a boatless person to bass fish without getting arrested for trespassing. Thanks in advance for any advice. 1bigpapa Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Hey there. I grew up in Florida and really miss what all it has to offer. I am planning a trip down to fish Okeechobee sometime in the next few months. I know how frustrating it can be to find places to go fishing without getting shot at. I deal with the same thing up here in VA. Anyway, just wanted to say hey and welcome to the forum. Quote
