Fossil Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I started Bass fishing with my Dad ever since I was old enough to hold a Rod up until I joined the US Air Force. While I was serving I didn't get to fish very much except for when I would come home on leave and fish with my Dad. I retired after 26 years and moved home in 2005 with hopes of picking back up fishing with the old man but unfortunately he got sick and passed away in Jul 2009. It took me about a year but I got me a boat in Mar 2010 and started back fishing, it has been a little hard getting back into it cause you don't realize how much you can forget and what has changed it 30+ years. I fish mostly at Tims Ford, Normandy Lake, & Woods Reservoir because they are closest to me. I am now getting my Grandsons into fishing like my Dad did me and see how much patience he must have had after I get my grand kids lure out of a tree for the 20th time... lol. I thought it would be a lot harder to be out there with out him but the kids help and actually I know he is out there with me every time I am fishing and laughing at me every time one of the kids casts into a tree. Didn't mean to make my intro so sappy. I am looking forward to getting back to being an avid Bass fisherman again. Randy Quote
