Prmetme Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Hey everybody, I just found these boards yesterday and I think they're great. I've just gotten back to enjoy fishing again with some help with some friends and want to take my fishing knowledge to a new level. I figured this would be the place to look to acquire such information. I don't have a boat or anything yet since I'm still in college but I do have a rod and some tackle. So if anybody has knowledge on the lakes around Richmond and wouldn't mind sharing a little info here and there I'm all ears. Quote

Super User senile1 Posted November 3, 2010 Super User Posted November 3, 2010 Welcome to BR. Some day Virginia will rule the world. I can't believe how many Virginians are members here. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 4, 2010 Super User Posted November 4, 2010 Purchase the ADC mapbook of Greater Richmond, including the surrounding counties. Look for anything blue. Fish them and let us know 1) how you did and 2) if you got arrested for tresspassing. ;D ;D ;D We are very glad to have you with us. There are a bunch of guys in the Richmond area that you will receive guidance and suggestions. What area do you live in Richmond? I live in the Bosher's Dam area. Quote
Prmetme Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Hey, thanks everybody. And Sam I live on the northside of Richmond just south of Ashland. I used to fish at Echo Lake a lot about 10 years ago, but they just recently drained and restocked it so it's not that good of a fishing place anymore. All the other small lakes around me pretty much have nothing in them. So basically I'm just trying to step up to bigger lakes with bigger fish. And with no boat it's kinda hard to do. Quote
s13john Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Virginia is rollin deep on this fourm lately. welcome Quote
