Greers Ferry Lover Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Hello from Memphis. After 30 year hiatus, I bought a place on Greers Ferry Lake 3 years ago. I have re-caught the fishing bug and have fished this lake every season the last 3 years. Big hybrid bass are the best but have caught 14 different species of fish. My brown water fishing friends told me there were no fish in Greers Ferry, just a great recreational lake. Let them keep thinking that! Quote
lynyrdsky1 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Welcome to BR cool to keep on seeing people from memphis on here. Greers Ferry Lover Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Been to Pickwick - can't get use to the boat and barge traffic. At Greers Ferry, it's just us fishermen after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. Lord willing, I will retire in 10-20 years, move here permanently and fish daily. Quote
