Hello from Memphis.  After 30 year hiatus, I bought a place on Greers Ferry Lake 3 years ago.  I have re-caught the fishing bug and have fished this lake every season the last 3 years.  Big hybrid bass are the best but have caught 14 different species of fish.  My brown water fishing friends told me there were no fish in Greers Ferry, just a great recreational lake.  Let them keep thinking that!

Been to Pickwick - can't get use to the boat and barge traffic.  At Greers Ferry, it's just us fishermen after Labor Day and before Memorial Day.  Lord willing, I will retire in 10-20 years, move here permanently and fish daily.
