I use those for wacky rigging senkos, also plan on using them for drop shot, and i have had good success with them. Your not really supposed to set the hook with these, just put pressure on the line and the fish hooks itself as it swims away.

Those are the only hooks I use now. I use them for dropshotting, wacky rigging, cutbait for cats, and spawnsacs fished on the bottom for trout.  Never had any problems with hook ups,  like was stated before, you really dont even set the hook.

Instead, try to find the "In-line" circle hooks instead. Will lip hook 90+% of the time. The off-set circles have a negative effect on the entire circle hook design. I use the 1/0 size exclusively for wacky rigging with great success. I even crimp down the barb. Not needed in my opinion.
